Alexandre Brennan

Alexandre Brennan has been VP Aesthetics since 2015.  

With the support of the team, his role is to set the Aesthetics strategy, lead innovation and the worldwide expansion of the Aesthetics portfolio.

After two years as a member of a task force team dedicated to opening up eastern subsidiaries for the Havas Communication group, in 1995 Alexandre joined the mass-market division of the L’Oréal group as Sales Manager. Between 1996 and 2001, he worked at L’Oréal as a Marketer, leading the hair, skin and sun care categories under the mass-market Garnier brand, before joining the Prestige division in 2002, where he led the marketing and development for the Lancôme brand in Europe.

In 2004, Alexandre joined the Pierre Fabre Group as General Manager for Klorane Laboratories specializing in baby and hair care and increased its positions in the European pharmacies. In 2008 and 2009, he was the General Manager for Pierre Fabre activities in Benelux; comprising dermatology drugs, OTC and cosmetics, and succeeded in turning around the declining subsidiary. In 2010, he took over the worldwide Avène thermal water business, consolidated the joint venture with Shiseido Group in Japan and turned Avène into the number 1 dermo-cosmetic brand in the world.

Alexandre joined Galderma as General Manager France in 2013.

Alexandre was born in France and his family is of Swedish and Irish origin. He is a graduate of HEC international business school in Paris, France. He also has a Master’s degree in International Management, which he completed in Stockholm, Sweden and Sao Paolo, Brazil. He lives in Lausanne, Switzerland.
